In recent years, the development of Hangzhou is obvious to all. The economy develops rapidly and the people’s life happiness index rises rapidly, presenting a prosperous and happy scene. The West Fair is committed to showing the elegant style of Hangzhou and setting up the image of Zhejiang. Through the West Fair, we will see a vibrant Hangzhou and a charming Zhejiang.
We are honored to have invited three Chinese and three foreign representatives to this conference. They are Zhou Yong, Secretary of Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, Li Kangsheng, Chairman of West China Expo, Student representatives of Hangzhou Volunteers Association, Richard Richard, Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Nick Nick, Mayor of Auckland City, and a foreign student representative. Good morning! Welcome to all of you!
With the joint efforts of Hangzhou people and people from all over the world, the 25th West Lake International Expo has officially opened. The holding of this exhibition is of great significance. In recent years, the epidemic has been affecting the city of Hangzhou, but we have still made many proud achievements: the 54 venues of the Asian Games have been partially or fully opened, and the benefits of the venues have been realized, and the happiness index of Hangzhou people has been continuously improved; Hangzhou’s net inflow rate of talent has also ranked first in China for many years. Although the challenges brought by epidemic prevention and control to Hangzhou will still exist for a long time, under the guarantee of the policy of one test in three days, the environment of Hangzhou has a high safety factor, and citizens’ travel is basically not affected. This year, Hangzhou has basically realized the full coverage of the subway, vigorously promoting the quality of urban transportation environment greatly improved; The municipal government launched a special campaign to improve the quality of the urban environment, aiming to show the most beautiful scenery of Hangzhou city.

After a long time of preparation, with the strong support of all parties, this West Lake International Expo has finally opened.
First of all, on behalf of the committee and the staff of the West Lake International Expo, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests and sincere greetings and best wishes to all the old and new friends.
Since its inception, the West Lake International Expo has been a government-sponsored economic and trade project aimed at promoting local economic and cultural development. It was held not only in Hangzhou, but also as a sub-venue in other cities in the Yangtze River Delta. The fair includes dozens of exhibitions, conferences and other leisure activities, and visitors and exhibitors can also enjoy delicious food, beautiful music, diverse folk customs and fascinating scenery.

奥克兰也是许多展览的举办地，比如奥克兰艺术博览会。来自中国、新西兰、澳大利亚、美国等国家和地区的40多家画廊的180多件杰作齐聚国际千帆之都奥克兰。奥克兰家居展是新西兰规模最大、最专业的家居及室内装饰展。上届展会有来自中国、澳大利亚、加拿大和日本的450家参展商，参观人数达49213人。
杭州是一座历史文化名城。杭州因其在旅游方面的发展，被世界休闲组织评为东方休闲城市，被世界旅游组织和国家旅游局评为中国最佳旅游城市。我希望有机会在西湖上划船，欣赏美丽的风景。

Good morning, everyone!
I am Fei Yuqi, a student volunteer from City College of Zhejiang University. It is my great honor to speak here as a volunteer representative of the 25th China Hangzhou West Lake International Expo.
At this moment, I think you all share the same mood and are full of expectations for the coming Expo. As an annual international event, the West Expo has become the name card of Hangzhou. At the same time, as the most beautiful name card of Zhejiang University City College, all the young volunteers of Zhejiang University City College actively participate in the volunteer service of West Expo, feel the charm of Hangzhou in practice, exercise themselves in different positions and different jobs, and increase their ability.
Volunteer service is a glorious and great cause, college students in the new era should be more involved in the ranks of volunteer service, shoulder our historical mission, and constantly enhance their social responsibility.
