As的用法
一.用作从属连词,引导状语从句，表：
1.时间,“在…时、随着、一边…一边…”
As he was a child, he was sent to a soccer training school.
As we grow up, we know more and more about the world.
2.原因，“因为、由于”
As he is always telling lies,we didn’t believe him when he told the truth.
3.方式,“按照…、像…那样”
You must do it as you were told to.
4.让步,“尽管…”,从句要倒装
常见结构：N./adj./adv. + as+ S.+ V…
Clever as he is, he seldom does well in exams.
Little girl as she is, Lucy is very brave.

5.比较，用于“as…as…/not as(so) … as …”
My younger brother is not so deliegent as he used to be.
二.用作关系代词，引导：
1.限定性定语从句,先行词前有as/ so/ such/the same引导
This is the same book as you bought .
He is such a good teacher as is respected by all the students.
He is so good a teacher as is respected by all the students.
Give me as many answers to the question as you can find out.
2. 非限定性定语从句,对主句整体作进
一步描述,可位于句首、句中、句末,有时可表示“正如…那样”
As I explained on the phone, your request will be discussed at the next
meeting.
三. 用作副词,多见于“as…as…”/“not as…as…”结构中
四. 用作介词: 表示 “作为…/当作…/ 像是…”常见短语： treat/ regard/ consider/

have/ look on / think of/ imagine/recognize…as…
He is always dressed up as a girl by his mom.
五. 关于as的固定搭配、特殊句式：
far as: 至…程度, 尽…,据…,就…而言
I can go with you as far as the station.
As far as I can see, they’ll win the match easily.
long as: 只要, 引导条件状语从句
As long as you spend enough time andenergy, you are sure to make it.
far as sb/sth be concerned: 就…而言
As far as I am concerned, I don’t agree with everything of your proposal.
to/ as for: 至于…
As for you, you must apologize to him.
As to what you should wear, I’ve no opinion.
