Genetically Modified Food
According to Peter(1993) ,GM food is a kind of food which people apply
modern inolecular biotechnology,transfer some biological gene to other
species transform the genetic material of living things,change the shape
nutritional quality consumer quality to the target of peoples
r,more than that,with the development of the science,GM foods
have more and more benefits. Originally, it is good for our Liu(2002)
showed that half of the public attitude towards GM foods is the
other 50% had unclear attitudes towards GM uncertainty of people’s attitudes towards GM foods may influence the government in terms of
making policies on promoting GM most famous oil company, Jing
Longyu, just produces its popular oil by using the GM bean as original
will the public’s acceptance of GM foods vary form food to
food?Will people have a new attitude towards to GM foods?So there is a
debate about GM food”s safety .Among various debates,the safety of food
produced using GM technology has increasingly attracted attention,The survey
by Kessler (1992)about hot debate on GM food safety in developed counties in
the early 1990s and spread by media public generally had a
positive attitude toward GM older the participants,the less optimistic
they were about GM food -aged people believed that the great
benefits of GM food would endow the GM food a whole new meaning for
over time,more and more people would accept GM food, because
world always belonged to a new (2008) point out that expect for
a few flawed studies or reported that claim potential health impact from GM
product,such as Ewen and Pusztai(1999),large number of studies have shown
that the commercialized GM food products are equally safe as their
conventional counterparts.
