新重商主义
Neomercantilism ---- State intervention（介入）in economic
affairs designed to strengthen national economic fortunes（有计划的）by maintaining a balance-of-trade surplus（贸易顺差）by
stimulating（刺激）domestic（国内的）production, reducing
imports, and promoting exports.
多元文化主义
Multiculturalism---- An emphasis on（着重于、对的强调）
the importance of ethnicity（种族划分） in shaping individuals’（个体的）identities（身份）and interests, thus promoting
communal（公共的）rights over individual rights and universal（普遍的、全体的）opportunity. 多元文化政策是多民族社会用以管理文化多元性的公共政策，它采取官方手段在一个国家内部强制推行不同文化之间的相互尊重和宽容。多元文化政策强调不同的文化各有其独特性，事关接纳其他民族时尤其重要。移民团体应该保留自身的文化，并且同其他的文化和平地交流。

也称军事工业国会复合体，是指一国之军队、私有产业、以及相关的政治经济利益而紧密结合成的共生关系。于此关系中，由于军队过分依赖私有产业提供武器及军需，而私有的国防产业又企图以政治游说等政经手段来确保政府对其的相关预算。这个词最常被用于美国，是个贬义词。
软权力
Soft power---- The ability to get another country to do
something it otherwise would not do
without the use of military or economic power. Soft power
includes cultural attractiveness, values, political beliefs, and the
ability to establish rules and institutions.
