No,the passage is not a coherent.There are 9 sentences in the passage and they're not related at all.Each of the sentences describes different subject.

The translation.For example,"have you taken your lunch today" the Chinese translation pops up and the sentence will be translated into "you have taken your lunch" is kind of a typical Chinese translation which translate the sentence in the other way.
