The Critical Patch Update for October 2013 was released on October 15th, 2013.

Starting Oct 2013, Java SE Critical Patch Update will be released quarterly every year as per the main Oracle Critical Patch Update Schedule.

Oracle strongly recommends applying the patches as soon as possible.

Please note that Sun products are included in this Critical Patch Update.
