一、教学目标
语言能力:能听、说、认、读本单元单词tiger,lion,elephant,monkey,they,zoo,all,baby等;能听
懂会说本课重要句型What are they?They’re......
学习能力:能将本课所学的知识在现实生活中灵活运用
思维品质:培养学生认真思考,自主学习的能力;渗透思想教育,激发学生爱护动物的情感
文化品格:学生能够了解中西方文化中表达单数和复数之间的区别
二、学情分析
本课选自外研版(三起)四年级上册Module10 Unit1,全书共分为11个模块,内含一个期末复
习模块。每个模块分为两个unit。一般情况下,unit1呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容,unit2
提供更深层次的拓展学习,包括一首歌曲或一个chant。三年级的学生好奇心重,积极探索,
在接触了一学期的英语后,已经有了一定的英语基础,也已掌握单数的提问形式What’ s this?
It’,对学习本课复数形式What are they? They’re......打下了基础
三、教学重难点分析
教学重点:
能听、说、认、读本课动物名词,并正确区分单复数
教学难点:
灵活运用What are they? They’re monkeys.
四、教学过程
Ⅰ.Warming up and leading in.
( Before the class, listening to the music about the animals. Super Simple Songs: Finger Family-
Animals )
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? I’m good, thank you. Before the class, you heard a
song about animals. So how many animals do you see? (请学生回答)Yes, you are so good! This
class we’ll learn animals. Can you read them?( Show the pictures. Students try to say them in
English.)
Ⅱ. Presentation
T: Today we are going to learn Module2 Unit1 They’re monkeys. Let’s look at some pictures and
say their names, OK? Go!(教师运用上学期所学句型What’s this?对学生进行提问It’s a
bird/cat/panda/dog.) You’re great. Now, let’s go to the zoo and see what kind of animals do they
have? Wow, we can see the monkey, one monkey, two monkeys, three monkeys. We can call them
Father Monkey, Mother Monkey, Baby Monkey.(教授单词monkey,baby的同时,顺便引入本课的
知识点-复数的表达) Turn to page8, look at part1, Listen and chant.(先播放一遍让学生有个初步
感知) Can you chant together? Ready go!(在初步感知的基础上全班一起跟读,并在跟读结束后
对全班进行点评)
T: So what’s this? It’s a monkey. And what are they? They are monkeys.(教授单词they, 并且进一
步讲解复数的提问和回答)
T: We saw monkeys in the zoo. So have any other animals in the zoo? Let’s listen and answer.(播放
Part2) Who knows the answer? A or B? B! Correct! So we can see tiger, lion, elephant, monkey,
panda in the zoo.(教授新词tiger, lion, elephant.且继续区分单复数的回答方式)
T: This time, let’s follow. Please pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Are you ready?
Go!You read very well.
Ⅲ. Practice
T: After you learn the animals’ name,can you say like this “ A lion”(教师先做示范,剩下的邀请学
生来回答)
Picture2 is a monkey, picture3 a tiger, picture4 an elephant.(这里要跟学生强调其他动物名词单数
都用a进行修饰,只有elephant要用an,这是因为elephant是以元音字母e开头)
T: You can say a lion,a monkey, a tiger, an elephant. Now, can you?(单数描述结束进入复数的描
述) tigers, monkeys, elephants.
Ⅳ. Consolidation
⑴T: If you have a zoo, which animals do you want? You can use “ It’/ They’re......” to
describe your zoo. “ It’s a cat. It’s a dog. They are dogs. Who wants to try?(邀请学生上台来完成
动物园的领养)
⑵T: Now let’s pair work. Two people in a group, one ask and one answer. For example, A asks
“What’s this?(What are they?)” B answer “It’s a .....(They’re......)” You have 2 minutes to discuss
with your partner. Go!
Time’s up. Who wants to come here share your dialogue with whole classmates?(邀请学生两人一
组上台操练)
