加中数据科技理事会与太平洋青年精英会携手，一同举办一场题为《零售业的科技颠覆——中加版本对比》的讨论会（《Disrupting Technology in Retail - Chinese vs. Canadian Versions》） ，共有5位来自中加两国的嘉宾出席，他们从咨询、金融、创业、创新、投资、等不同角度，让大家从多个角度了解加中两国的零售科技领域的前沿，分享鲜为人知的行业动态。

嘉宾介绍

Sepehr is a strategist and enthusiast in tech and constructing new businesses. He is currently the Lead of Business Development at Xanadu, a quantum computing company. Before Xanadu, he was leading the product road mapping and go to market activities at Element AI in the Banking Practice. He also worked as Associate Consultant at Bain & Company earlier in his career.

Sep holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.

Yadan has almost ten years’ experience in driving growth of tech and professional services startups in China. She is now leading the international expansion of Ant Financial, an Alibaba owned Fintech company, in the Philippines and Vietnam. Before Ant Financial, she was the Head of Ecommerce Operations of Xiaohongshu, a social media led e-commerce platform. Before exploring the tech world, Yadan was working at a boutique consulting firm in China, helping global and local businesses in Retail, TMT to form growth strategies.

Yadan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Beijing University.

Yang has founded a number of startups and is currently the co-founder and CTO at StackAdapt, an AI-focused digital advertising platform.

He is a frequent speaker at marketing and technology conferences where his topics include AI, advertising, and building startups. In the past, he built financial trading software at Bloomberg and studied Business and Computer Science at the University of Toronto.

Michael is a client partner in Element AI's supply chain and retail group. He has 6+ years of experience working alongside some of the biggest brands in the world, including, Converse, eBay, Unilever, P&G & L'Oreal and helping them partner with AI start-ups. Previous to Element AI he worked at The Bakery and Saatchinvest in London, UK and was involved in helping over 20+ startups bring technology to market.

Juanshu is Vice President at Tiantu Ventures, specialized in retail and consumer goods. Before Tiantu, she worked at IDG and Reifeng Venture Capital and invested in a series of retail tech startups, such as OOAK, WonderLab, Akulaku, Patpat, etc. She accumulated knowledge and experiences in the Chinese retail tech markets during her time as a venture capitalist, as well as during her time at a boutique consulting firm in China, leading strategic projects for global and local retail companies.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Zhejiang University and CFA.

加中数据科技理事会

加中数据科技理事会(Canada China Data Technology Council, CCDTC)，是加拿大本地注册的数据领域的非营利组织，其成立目的是汇集中加两国企业、学术、资本和政府的优质资源，以创新的运作模式，对接两国资本和技术的需求，促进加拿大和中国在大数据、人工智能、云计算和区块链等数据领域的交流与合作，推动两国数据领域研究和应用的发展。理事会在加拿大政府倡议下，由本地科技企业和业内代表创立，已举办多次跨境项目路演、初创企业服务、优质项目落地等活动。

第一数据创新基地

第一数据创新基地（First Data Innovation）是加中数据科技理事会支持的新媒体渠道。其使命是用心挖掘海外创新的成功案例、商业模式和行业特点，寻找创新领域的潜在商机，为寻求海外创新的企业和机构提供研究合作和企业服务。
