英语写作中“合理的”“科学的”reasonable plausible scientific 的用法

一、“合理的”reasonable、plausible 的用法举例：

We assume that the lifecycle of a software is around three years. Such a consideration should be reasonable/plausible.（我们假设一个软件的生命周期是3年，这样的考虑应该是合理的——符合实际情况的。）

The authors set the parameter to be much higher than xx, which leads to a unreasonable/implausible result of simulation.（作者把参数设置得比xx高得多，导致了不合理的模拟结果。）

reasonable 与plausible 虽然是同义词，但有语气上的差别，plausible 语气委婉，可以翻译为“应该是合理的”。建议在写作中尽量使用plausible 。

二、“科学的”scientific 是指符合科学规范的，这个单词在科技写作中不应该出现，因为“科学的”是基本前提，完全不需要再阐述某项工作符合/不符合科学规范。但在一般写作中scientific 可以用于表达工作仔细、合理，实际上是转义了，例如：

The lab. needs a set of scientific regulations of management.（实验室需要一套科学管理制度。）
