when I first bought my windowsphone the fordsync would read my text. After I updated my phone the sync does not let me use this option. I emailed HTC they said it was the Windows OS causing the problem Please help

Thought I had replied to this. This is the wrong forum for this question, unless you are writing the driver for the Ford Sync system, which I don't think you are. I'd suggest you go back tot he dealership and work with them.

Did you re-enable Bluetooth on your phone and does it connect via bluetooth? When I turn the ignition on on my Lincoln I get a connect or disconnect message depending on whether BT is or is not enabled on my phone. I haven't messed around with texting on Sync because texting and driving are highly discouraged.
