Has any one encountered this issue?

I was migrating a very large document library from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013. The 50k list threshold has been reached and exceeded. The library was not displaying any documents so I adjusted the list threshold to 75k. After I refreshed the library page, the documents are displaying correctly. But I am not able to check-out or check-in any documents, or even modify any permissions anymore within the site. Hope someone can help me how to solve this issue. Thanks

The log is not the error of the issue.

What is the error message displayed on the page when you checking in/out the files and editing the permissions?

Does this issue occur on the new web application?

How did you migrate from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013?
