I am getting the above error message after deploying my FunctionApp from Visual Studio and am looking for a fix to this.

I can repro the issue when the Visual Studio Project is developed in runtime version v1 and portal function setting is pointing to runtime version v2. Make sure you are creating function app using Visual studio in version V2(.NET Core).
