好的，所以我在使用2015社区多年后才安装了VS 2017 Pro。我无法以任何方式，形状或形式连接到MySQL。我已经安装了所有先决条件，但MySQL驱动程序只是没有显示我尝试使用服务器资源管理器设置MySQL 连接或通过添加新对话框添加它。

Okay, so I just installed VS 2017 Pro after using 2015 Community for several years. I cannot get it to connect to MySQL in any way, shape or form. I've installed every prerequisite but the MySQL driver just does not show any time I try and setup a MySQL connection using the Server Explorer or by adding it through the Add New dialog.

I can import WinForms projects created with 2015 that have no issue connecting to the same database. I'm starting this ASP.Net project from scratch so there is no project to import. I get the feeling that's the route I may have to go to get this project connected.

I've tried all the usual uninstall/re-install/reboot check for dlls etc. with no success. Does anyone have a tried-and-true method of connecting to MySQL using VS 2017?
