Hi,

We are having requirement to add additional functionality to a fully configured SharePoint provided hosted Application. Debugging the code in Visual Studio redeploys the SP app. This changes the app url, which means that existing certificate is invalid and breaks the system.

Did youcreate a self-signed test .pfx certificate file for your high-trust SharePoint Add-in? Try to create your high-trust SharePoint Provider Hosted add-in follow the article below.

Or did you meet the following error when you debugging the add-in?

"The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure"
