Hi guys,

when I am creating a new Universal App Project I can choose between different Mobile Emulators. But if I get a project from someone else (or the Internet, e.g. Github) and open that, there are no Mobile Emulators.

I couldclick on download new Emulators but that doesn't change anything. They arenot available. Only for my own new created projects. I had the same problem with Visual Studio 2013.

What is being disabled when opening a downloaded project and where can I activate it again so that I can use the Mobile Emulators?

Can someone help?

Just use UWP sample code as example, here is the sample code link: github/Microsoft/Windows-universal-samples. If you downloadthis sample code.and choose as following screenshotinvisual studio, could you use mobileemulator to run?

Please also try in another machine to exclude environment issue. If this is a Visual Studio issue, please try to reinstall/repair it.
