在SharePoint Online中，连续爬网的默认时间间隔为15分钟。在SharePoint Server中，管理员可以启用连续爬网并管理连续爬网频率。

对于SharePoint持续爬网，如果先前的连续爬网尚未完成，则下一次爬网将等到之前的一个已完成。因此，如果您的服务器场的内容很大，则连续抓取的时间间隔可能会比默认的值更长。

Hello All, Could you please help us to understand the back ground of Continious crawl. In our environment Continuous crawl running for exactly 24hrs but i know the default interval for continuous crawl is 15mins but not sure how to verify if it is really running parallel for every 15mins. And why it is showing 24hrs in the crawl log.

Are you using SharePoint Online or SharePoint server?

In SharePoint Online, the default interval for continuous crawl is 15 mins. And in SharePoint Server,administrators can enable continuous crawls and manage continuous crawl frequencies.

For SharePoint continuous crawl, if the previous continuous crawl has not been finished, the next crawl will wait until theprevious one is finished. So, if the content of your farm is big, the interval for continuous crawl may be longer than the default value.
