The simple answer is Yes. You can create interactive Power BI reports with the data in SharePoint list and embed the report in a SharePoint Page.

To do that on-premise, you will need some Prerequisites

You will need to have Power BI Report Server installed and configured.

You will need to have Power BI Desktop optimized for Power BI Report Server installed.

You will need to have a SharePoint environment installed and configured.

When opening Power BI desktop, click on the "Get Data" button to access the data sources that are available. You can select SharePoint list and connect to the list you want.
