Hello all,

我们有一个Azure API Management Premium实例，该实例以外部"模式连接到虚拟网络. VNET中的子网掩码为/24.子网具有一个路由表，该路由表使用虚拟设备连接到我们的防火墙.

We have an Azure API Management Premium instance that is connected to a Virtual Network in External mode. The subnet in the VNET has a mask of /24. The subnet has a routing table that uses virtual appliance to connect to our firewall.

How can I determine which IP address API Management uses to connect to configure firewall rules ?

I tried some tests and configured APIM with a backend endpoint to a VM private IP (from another subnet). It should go thought the firewall by using the routing table and the virtual appliance.

But I got timeout error and nothing is passing through the firewall withthe Public Virtual IP address of the APIM service.

Normally, you should set a dedicate subnet for API Management. Like subnet of 10.1.1.0/29, it will easy to find the private ip address. the Premium APIM private ip should 10.1.1.4 and 10.1.1.5.
